  • BRI was certified as National Post-doctoral Research Center
2015
  • The research group consisted of Beijing Railway Institute, Tsinghua University, China academy of railway sciences, and CRRC Qingdao sifang Co.,LTD., completed the study on the service life of high-pressure composite insulators of silicone rubber for the first time, which provided an important decision basis for the users of high-speed trains and locomotives in China to replace high-voltage insulator regularly
  • The Synchronous Lifting Jack for 16-unit High-speed EMU Trains of BRI acquired US Invention Patent  
2014
  • BRI was assessed as a software company by the Beijing Economic and Information Commission
  • BRI has been certificated for the ISO/TS 22163 international system of Rheinland
  • Synchronous Lifting Jack for 16-unit High-speed EMU Trains of BRI acquired the European Invention Patent
2012
  • The Safety Interlocking monitoring System for high-speed EMU Trains has been operated safely in more than 60 EMU Depots in 31 provinces and cities nationwide. In 2012, it was successfully applied to the Mecca Metro in Saudi Arabia , which became the first oversea sample project for China's high-speed rail equipment
  • China's first third-generation Test Bed for Entire Locomotive was successfully tested at the Tianjin locomotive maintenance base. The major equipment achieved 32 national invention patents and software copyrights,and was first applied to the dynamic detection of 22 different types of locomotives
  • Zhou Ji,the president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering with the delegation of the academicians accompanied by Lu Chunfang,the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Railways and He Huawu,the Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Railways,inspected Wuhan EMU Depot,and felt deeply shocked by the Synchronous Lifting Jack for High-speed EMU Trains developed by the BRI!
  • A delegation of old professors from Beijing Jiaotong University visited the Beijing CRH Depot and were deeply shocked by the Synchronous Lifting Jack developed by the BRI.

  • BRI was awarded the Beijing Patent Demonstration Unit by the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office
  • BRI was ranked first in the first (set) major technical equipment demonstration project by five departments in Beijing

2010
  • BRI was awarded the First Batch of Beijing Postdoctoral (Youth Talents) Innovation Practice Base Workstation by the Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau 
  • The world's first Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack for 16-unit High-speed EMU Trains developed by BRI was successfully launched at the first time in Wuhan EMU Depot!More than 60 mainstream media at home and abroad, including the Central Government Network, Xinhua News Agency, Science and Technology Daily,highly praised BRI for its “shocking the world”.This pioneering work ended the 60-year history without the Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack for High-speed EMU Trains of our country
  • Mobile Synchronous Lifting Jack and Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack were recognized as independent innovation products by five departments in Beijing

  • The full dynamic load test and detection system of the locomotive converter of BRI was listed as the Beijing Torch Program
  • The world's first Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack for 8-unit High-speed EMU Trains developed by BRI was successfully launched at the first time in Beijing EMU Depot!
  • BRI won the Special Contribution award for the construction of the first phase of the Beijing CRH Base
  • BRI was assessed as an Innovative Pilot Enterprise in the national independent innovation demonstration zone by the Beijing Municipal Government, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences
2008
  • The first second-generation six-axis internal combustion electric Test Bed for Entire Locomotive in China passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways,which solved the major technical problems of the complete vehicle test for compatible internal combustion electric locomotives
2007
  • BRI was awarded by Shanghai south station engineering construction headquarters of Shanghai Railway Bureau
  • The Safety Interlocking Monitoring System for high-speed EMU Trains of BRI passed the technical review held by the Ministry of Railways. On April 12Hu Yadong, the vice minister of the Ministry of Railways, led experts to inspect the equipment.It ensured the first running of China's high-speed trains on April 18th, 2007

2006
  • BRI formulated 4 railway industrial standards
2004
  • BRI successfully developed the Locomotive Roof Pantograph-supporting Insulator,which solved the pollution flashover problem and transport interruption problem caused by smog.It is the only product in China that has passed 5 national testing institutions and 25 test results
  • BRI has developed the first major equipment for the dynamic testing of the first generation of four-axis electric locomotives in China.It has passed the scientific appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Railways and led by Liu Youmei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, successfully solved the locomotive-running-test on main lines,and won the Third Prize of Railway Science and Technology Award
2003
  • The professional team organized by the BRI has carried out research on the structure,performance and maintenance process of the CRH,and researched and developed major equipment such as the evaluation information system for the Safety Interlocking Monitoring System of the CRH and the Under-floor Synchronous Lifting Jack
  • BRI built industry base in HuaZhong Univerisity of Science and Technology
2002
  • BRI moved into Beijing Fengtai Science and Technology Park as headquarter
