Development History

Since 2007, BJTDS has been successfully cooperating with with Germany, France, England, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, America, Canada and Japan, to bring thee world-leading technologies in the R&D of our major equipment such as under-floor lifting jack for high-speed trains, test bed for entire locomotives, and safety interlocking monitoring system etc. After six years of unremitting efforts, BJTDS has developed more than 20 of the world’s leading products, which includes 2100 kilowatts IGBT inverter device and testing equipment; traction motor cleaning machine, axle box parts washer, wheelset bogie frame washer, toilet collector pipe washer, moving skin washer, motor vehicle coupler test bench, oil pressure shock absorber test bench, air spring test bench, pantograph detection test bench, basic brake unit test bench, mobile sewage dump truck, EMU evaluation management system, the comprehensive information management system for maintenance and repair management, management information system for maintenance inspection etc.
 
2007-2016  Decade History
 
In Jan. 2016, EMU trains, locomotives, car running gear monitoring subsystem and train headcover on-line integrated detection system passed the technical review organized by the Beijing Railway Bureau.
 
In 2016, the locomotive maintenance information management system was successfully developed at the Beijing locomotive depot. The system provides technical support for the construction of railway network, information, and big data. BJTDS won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of China Railway Construction Corporation.
 
In May 2015, the locomotive maintenance management system and the locomotive maintenance operation comprehensive management system passed the technical review. The first domestically developed rotary lifting platform and mobile sewage dump truck have been successfully applied in railway bureaus in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Nanchang, Xi’an, Lanzhou, Hohhot, Harbin, and Shenyang.
 
In December 2015, the research team consisting of Beijing Railway Institute, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Railway Sciences, and China Railway Group Qingdao Sifang Company completed the study of the service life of silicone rubber composite insulators for the first time, which provides an important basis for decision-making on the regular replacement of insulators for the use of EMU trains and locomotives in China.
 
In November 2014, the harmony high-power electric locomotive (CRH) traction motor overhaul line process won the third prize of Science and Technology Award of China Railway Construction Corporation.
 
In December 2014, the 9600KW high-power dynamic detection platform for entire locomotive won the first prize of Hubei Science and Technology Award.
 
In January 2013, BJTDS was assessed as a grade A tax credit enterprise by the State Administration of Taxation of Beijing Municipality and the Local Taxation Bureau of Beijing Municipality.
 
In March 2013, the key technology research for the maintenance base of the harmonious high-power electric locomotive won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of China Railway Construction Corporation.
 
In December 2013, the 16-unit high-speed EMU trains synchronous lifting technology won the second prize of Hubei Science and Technology Award.
 
Compatible with four types of vehicles, lifting 8 and 16-unit EMU trains under-floor synchronous lifting jack technology and application, won the third prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award.
 
In June 2012, the first third-generation HXD locomotive test bed was tested successfully in Tianjin locomotive maintenance base. In 2012, BJTDS won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of China Railway Construction.
 
On January 29, 2012, Chunfang Lu, vice minister of the Ministry of Railways, and Huawu He, chief engineer of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, accompanied the delegation of the Chinese Academy of Engineering to inspect the scene of the EMU train depot in Wuhan. In 2001, the under-floor synchronous lifting jack for high-speed EMU trains was rated the first place by five departments in Beijing as the first set of major technical equipment in Zhongguancun science and technology park.
 
In 2011, BJTDS was evaluated as "Beijing Enterprise Technology Center" by Beijing Municipal Economic and Information Committee.
 
In November 2011, BJTDS was awarded the Beijing Patent Demonstration Unit by the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office (Beijing [2011] No. 283).
 
In November 2011, the deepening research of synchronous lifting jack technology won the special prize of Technological Innovation of the Beijing Railway Bureau and the second prize of Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Railways. In December of the same year, BJTDS was awarded the advanced unit of spiritual civilization in Fengtai science park.
 
The evaluation and management system for the maintenance of EMU trains, first developed by BJTDS, has been successfully passed the technical review ( [2010], No. 3731) of the Ministry of Railways and applied to the train bases in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Chengdu and Shenyang.
The first EMU rescue suspension device passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways (Transportation Inspection [2011] No. 6).
 
In May 2010, the ND-type entire locomotive test dynamic detection device was listed as the National Torch Plan Project by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.
 
In October 2010, BJTDS was named the "Beijing Postdoctoral (Young Talents) Innovation Practice Base Workstation" by Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
Beijing Railway Institute has been listed as an innovative pilot enterprise in the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone."
 
In July 2009, BJTDS won the 2008 Fengtai Science and Technology Innovation Outstanding Contribution Enterprise Award in Zhongguancun science park.
 
On January 8, 2009, the TBLY1-20/100 (FZ) high-voltage transformer passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways. (Loading Machine Test [2009] No. 74)
 
In January 2009, the first-phase project of Beijing EMU base was awarded the Special Contribution Award by the Preparatory Group of EMU Maintenance Base of Beijing Railway Passenger Dedicated Line.
 
In April 2009, the first under-floor synchronous lifting jack and mobile lifting jack passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways. On October 22th of the same year, it was successfully tested in in Beijing EMU train base which has created three of the world's best: more compatible models, longer lengths and synchronization accuracy and acquired 22 international and national invention patents.
 
In November 2009, the German SEW company provided full funding and appointed commissioners to accompany six experts from BJTDS to conduct exchange studies in Germany, Italy, France, and Switzerland. On December 19th of the same year, BJTDS successfully hosted the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment as well as of the successlly tested of the under-floor synchronous lifting jack for 8-unit high-speed EMU trains.
 
In December 2009, the JBD-F803-type locomotive converter full dynamic load test and detection system was listed as a Beijing Torch Program project by the Beijing Science and Technology Commission. BJTDS participated in the drafting of the People's Republic of China Railway Industry Standard TB/T 3214-2009. The under-floor as well as the mobile synchronous lifting jack passed the load test of the Quality Inspection Center of the Ministry of Railways. Leaders and experts from the Ministry of Railways Transport Bureau, the Third and Fourth Railway Design Institute, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Wuhan Railway Bureau conducted a site visit.
 
In March 2008, the roof insulators of motor vehicles passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways.
 
On March 20, 2008, the side-shifting rigid activity contact net system passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways (Transportation Inspection [2008] No. 152).
 
In April 2008, the under-floor and mobile synchronous lifting jack passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways.
 
In October 2008, the Ministry of Railways Transportation Bureau held a special meeting on the subject and conducted a technical review of the entire locomotive dynamic detection device of the ND-type locomotive. (The “Ministry of Railways Transportation Equipment Installation [2008] No. 608”)
 
In November 2008, the locomotive bogie self-running test bench won the third prize of the Science and Technology Award of Ministry of Railways.
 
In December 2008, the JBD-F803 locomotive converter full dynamic load test and detection system won the third prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award.
 
The safety interlock monitoring system and the mobile contact network are the key equipment to ensure the warehouse entry, the peak operation, the high voltage power supply and the power outage. BJTDS successfully solved this technical problem and passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways in February 2007. On April 12, 2007, Yadong Hu, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Railways, led the relevant experts to inspect the equipment on site and ensured the first trip of China’s EMU trains on April 18, 2007.
 
In October 2007, the QZX-1-type bogie cleaning machine automatic control device won the third prize of Technology Innovation of Beijing Railway Bureau.
 
In October 2007, the locomotive bogie self-running test bench was awarded the first prize for technical innovation by the Beijing Railway Bureau.
 
In 2007, BJTDS drafted the railway industry standards TB/T 3186-2007 and TB/T 3184-2007 of the People's Republic of China.
 
 
1997-2006  Decade History
 
In February 2006, the JZD-1-type locomotive dynamic detection system won the third prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award.
 
QSZ-1-type bogie cleaning machine automatic control device and locomotive bogie automatic running-in test bench are identified by the Beijing Railway Bureau ([2006] No. 23) and successfully promoted to railway administrations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Zhengzhou etc.
 
In 2006, BJTDS drafted the People's Republic of China Railway Industry Standard TB/T 3077.2-2006.
 
In March 2006, the safety interlock monitoring system was successfully developed in Beijing depot.
 
In November 2005, the JBD-F803-type locomotive converter full dynamic load test and detection system won the first prize of the Beijing Railway Bureau for technical innovation, and was successfully promoted to railway administrations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Zhengzhou etc.
 
In February 2004, the first locomotive dynamic detection system in China passed the scientific and technological appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Railways; this project won the second prize of the China Railway Science and Technology Award.
 
In July 2004, the FZ-type electric locomotive roof insulator passed the technical review of the Ministry of Railways and was successfully promoted to the China Locomotive Manufacturing (repair) Factory and railway administrations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Zhengzhou etc.
 
In 2003, the industrial manufacturing base of BJTDS was established in the Huazhong Science and Technology Park of Wuhan Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
 
In November 2003, DGG-1A-type high-voltage isolation switch won the third prize of Beijing Railway Bureau for technological innovation.
 
In November 2003, the locomotive converter flow-equalization coefficient tester won the second prize of the Beijing Railway Bureau for technological innovation.
 
In December 2003, the JBD-F803-type locomotive converter's full dynamic load test and inspection system passed the technical review of the Beijing Railway Bureau and was successfully promoted to railway administrations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Zhengzhou etc.
 
In 2002, BJTDS was stationed at Beijing Fengtai Science Park Headquarters.
 
In July 2002, the locomotive converter's current sharing coefficient tester and high-voltage isolation switch passed the technical review of Beijing Railway Bureau.
 
In October 2002, the locomotive application safety information management system passed the technical review of the Beijing Railway Bureau and was successfully promoted to railway administrations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Zhengzhou etc.
 
In March 2000, electrodialyzers for locomotive motor washing machines and alkaline battery waste electrolytes obtained national patents.
 
In 2000, the locomotive motor stator rotor cleaning and drying project was applied in Shijiazhuang electric locomotive depot; locomotive diesel engine as well as bogie cleaning project applied in Fengtai locomotive depot; voltage regulator, electronic transition relay, time relay, stepless speed control drive, 4 locomotive accessories have been successfully developed; the wheel alignment test bench, the main circuit breaker test bench, and the mobile rack vehicle have been popularized and applied in the Beijing and Zhengzhou railway bureaus.
 
 
1989-1996  History of 1989 to 1996
 
In December 1994, the YB-150-type hydraulic track machine passed the science and technology appraisal of the Chengdu Railway Bureau and was applied to various railway administrations.
 
In January 1993, the thyristor series testing device, JRB-type diesel locomotive fuel pump motor unit microcomputer automatic detector, JYF-type diesel locomotive hydraulic system safety and high pressure hose test bench passed the Beijing railway science and technology achievement appraisal, and was extended to various railway bureaus.
 
In October 1991, CGD, the first generation of long-track synchronous positioning and lifting device won the third prize of national invention, and Yinghao Li won the title of “the First Inventor”.
 
On March 18, 1989, the Beijing Railway Institute was founded.
 
In March 1989, the ballast backfill plastic car passed science and technology appraisal held by the Beijing Railway Bureau , and won the third prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress.
 
In October 1989, CGD, the first generation of long-track synchronous positioning and lifting device passed the scientific and technical appraisal held by the Ministry of Railways, and won the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Railways as well as the third prize of Beijing Excellent Project Development.
